Crime Alert - Theft of a Vehicle

Dear Resident,

Humberside Police have had reports of a stolen motor vehicle and an attempt to steal another motor vehicle. The incidents occurred today around the King Oswald and Axholme Drive area.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being stolen, please read through the below advice -

Keep your vehicle locked at all times

Make sure your vehicle alarm is set if it has one.

Consider using a steering wheel lock, we recommend Secured by Design accredited products.

Don't leave your keys or fobs where they can be easily found.

If your vehicle has keyless entry, use a faraday pouch to prevent a relay theft.

Park your vehicle in a garage if you can, or in a secure location.

If you have CCTV, park your vehicle where it will be covered.
